Step-5. Connect Your Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 To PC/Laptop

Step-6. Now Come Back To Your PC/Laptop >> Go To ADB & Fastboot Folder That You Have Extracted And Press & Hold Shift Key In Platform Tools Window, Right Click and Select “Open PowerShell Window Here”. After that, you will see the “PowerShell Window”.

Step-7. Now You Have To Type The Following Commands

.\fastboot devices

And Hit Enter, Again Type

.\fastboot oem enable_camera_hal3 true

    Thanks for detailed method to install Gcam. I will surely try. But I have heard people have problems with fingerprint scanner after installing gcam. Is it true? And also does warranty remain?

    I have a question, is your camera have a touch focus problem on google camera ?

    My camera always blur when I tap view finder to focus, after tap camera hard to focus (blurry)

    • You don’t have to do anything once you install gcam if you have got any update via OTA just update it. The update will not affect Gcam so, don’t worry about that!

    Thanks for reply. Everything worked like a charm and I installed latest Gcam on the phone. The the Gcam with night sight is not installing, its giving parsing error. Is there any workaround for that?

Hi I am using gcam in M2 for the past 2days.but for night sight,selfie I needed both gcam 2,3installed.i have a problem though from the time I received the M2 there is a nail polish removal smell above top edge near volume button ,am I smelling battery acid leaking ,,or this is the plastic smell.please suggest…..
