  • After That You, Will See A Bunny Logo That Means You Are In Fastboot Mode

5.) Come Back To Your PC And Open ADB folder >> Press Shift + Right Click From Your Keyboard And Click Open Command Prompt Window Here / Powershell Window Here.

6.) Now Type The Following Commands

fastboot devices
  • Hit Enter, Now Type
fastboot oem unlock
  • Hit Enter, Now Type
fastboot reboot

  1. I read that Xiaomi are blocking rollback to Oreo. I would appreciate knowing when you did this roll back please?
    I am concerned that it may no longer work correctly.

    • Yes, its right that xiaomi blocked the official rollback to oreo. But this method is unofficial but don’t worry this method is 100% working I have tried it on many Mi A1 phones. And if you are concern about installing twrp then it’s just for few minutes and after the flashing process done twrp will automatically get deleted.

  2. So my problem is that after I type ‘fastboot oem unlock’, Windows PowerShell says “waiting for device” and stays this way while my phone automatically turns itself on. And i just don’t have a chance to type ‘fastboot reboot’ or do all the next steps :/

    Do you know why is this happening?

    • Rameez it’s always recommended to take a complete backup of your android while unlocking your phone’s bootloader. And yes, your data will be completely wiped out!
